Working from a firm belief that with proper diet, exercises and massage, most "sickness" can be avoided and in many cases, overcome.
Becoming a massage therapist in 2007, I quickly realized that stiff, achy joints can also come from weak muscles, allowing us to "sit" in our frame, putting undue stress and pressure in all the joints of the body.

In 2012 I was introduced to Foundation Training, a series of isometric exercises held in modified yoga poses designed to lengthen and strengthen the muscles in the back of the body. Blown away at how quickly I was able to achieve strength and flexibility in the postural muscles, and excited to share this strength with my clients, I became a certified Foundation Training instructor.
After nearly 2 decades of strengthening and rehabbing muscles I turned my attention to diet. How to properly fuel the body for best performance, recovery, and prevention, and knowing that everyBODY is different is what brought me to Ayurveda. A 5,000 year old practice of following the rhythms of nature and eating for your specific constitution, it is the manual for the body. It is not a one-size-fits-all model, it is specific to the individual, and when done consistently, subtle shifts can be felt almost instantly.
There is a simplicity to nature, and the more we try to control it, the further we move away from it. Losing this connection, we become sicker and more tired; by getting in touch with ourselves and listening to our bodies, we become more connected with our nature and thus become healthier and more vibrant.
Aging and mortality are a part of life, but sickness is not.
Why would the body want to be sick?
It doesn't, it's just waiting for you to listen and to take control of your life and health.
